WHAT WE BELIEVE

St. Paul expresses the love of God by carrying the Gospel to the unchurched, leading them to become followers of Jesus Christ, and nurturing the spiritual growth of all.

Gather

Each Sunday, we worship God together in person and offer an opportunity to join us online. Our sanctuary hosts worship for all. However, children from birth through Fifth Grade may prefer to attend Children's Church in the lower level of the Educational Building.

Grow

St Paul currently offers three Sunday School classes. Adults meet in Room 206 on the second floor of the Educational Building. Preschool and Children's classes meet in the lower level of the Educational Building. Join us as we learn about Christ's mission in the world.

The ministry of the Gospel extends throughout the world. Through our local missions, such as MUST Ministries, our Helping Hands benevolence, as well as denominational outreach through the United Methodist Church, St Paul's impact is multiplied to the glory of God.

Our Beliefs

Our Christian Beliefs

United Methodists share a common heritage with all Christians. According to our foundational statement of beliefs found in The Book of Discipline, we share the following basic affirmations in common with all Christian communities.

What we believe about...

  • God

God, who is one, is revealed in three distinct persons.

  • Jesus

We believe in the mystery of salvation through Jesus Christ. God became human in Jesus of Nazareth; and his life, death and resurrection demonstrates God's redeeming love.

  • The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is God's present activity in our midst. When we sense God's leading, God's challenge, or God's support or comfort, it's the Holy Spirit at work.
