Begin your contemplation of the Lenten Season at the Ash Wednesday service at Marietta First UMC, March 6 at 6:30 pm. The seven churches of the Marietta District Team will join together to observe the occasion with North Georgia Conference Bishop, Sue Haupert-Johnson, speaking. The combined choirs of the seven churches will present special music, Holy Communion will be observed, along with the imposition of ashes. An offering will be received to benefit the United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) and the United Methodist Children’s Home.
The End of the Year Giving Statements are available on the table in the narthex. Please pick yours up to save us the cost of mailing them. If you contributed any amount during 2018, you have a statement! If you have created your Realm login, you can access and print your statement from your profile page!
Thank you to everyone who has created their login to Realm. If you are not among them, the invitation was re-sent on January 28. It comes from Realm, not from the church office. It is specific to your email address and your profile page which is already created in Realm. You can update or edit your information if necessary, and can review your giving statement. Also, check the privacy settings and let your contact information be available to “Everyone”. The system defaults to “Staff Only” which means your contacts can’t be seen by other members of the congregation. Let Ruth G. know if you have questions.
