Adult Sunday School
Looking for a Sunday School class? Below is some brief information about each of our adult classes that we hope you will find helpful. All of our classes open with announcements, sharing celebrations and concerns, prayer and then the lesson for the day.
The Friendship Class is a class primarily of older adults, singles and couples. They use Bible study material called Seasons of the Spirit Series that follows the seasons of the Christian year and the lectionary. Teaching style is lecture and discussion. Fred Elam teaches this class. The class begins at 9:45am. They meet in Room 207 of the Education Building.
The Open Door Class is mostly couples in their forties and fifties with some singles. They study a variety of subjects throughout the year. The class is presentation/discussion-oriented and facilitated by Tricia Glidewell. She is an academic dean, dean of faculty at Marist. Class starts around 10am. and meets in Room 206 of the Education Building.
Other Classes: We also offer long and short-term classes at various times, day or evenings, throughout the year. The pastor and gifted laity teach and facilitate these classes. Watch for the announcements on the website, worship bulletins, and monthly newsletter for upcoming classes.
In addition to our Sunday School Classes, we offer small groups. Each small group is uniquely designed to meet you where you are in life.
