Amy Cole: Children’s Director
Thank you all so much for welcoming me to St. Paul. There’s a lot of love in this church, and I feel very blessed to be a part of this church family. I am very excited about the Children’s program and the future it holds.
I am originally from Heflin, Alabama, which is halfway between Atlanta and Birmingham on I-20.I attended Auburn University and earned my
undergraduate degree in Communication Disorders and my Master’s degree in Education with a concentration in Autism and Severe Emotional and Behavior Disorders.
I moved to the Marietta area after graduating, and I worked for Cobb County Schools as both a classroom teacher and a Lead Teacher for the HAVEN program. I moved home to Alabama in 2012 to be with my family after my husband unexpectedly passed away in 2011. I moved back last year and am enjoying new beginnings and being close to my sister, who also lives in Smyrna.
As an educator, I am very passionate about children succeeding, feeling good about themselves, and being excited about learning. I bring this passion to the Children’s program, and I hope that shows through in the children and program. Thank you again for this wonderful opportunity to serve God and to be a blessing to others.
